Dubcnn: It’s Jose with Dubcnn I’m here with Game. What’s up Game?

Game: What’s up homes?

Dubcnn: First off it’s a pleasure to be here with Game. We were just in the new studio and we got to listen to it and it’s crazy. Tell us about your new album and how everything’s going with it.

Game: My new album, I’m sort of like Dre with Detox. I keep everything quiet, y’all two was kind of privy, I’m pretty sure it was a treat for y’all. Album’s crazy though it’s called The RED Album, rededicated, REDicated to my fans. My hood, my block, my family, my craft, which is hip-hop. It’s my reincarnation into what I really came to do in music. Ain’t really focused on no beefs on this album, ain’t up against the wall. I can really create. Pharrell is executive producing the album, Dre, I’m back working with Dre, helping him with Detox, he’s helping me with The RED album. It’s just a good vibe, a good feel. The album’s gonna be incredible so when it come out on February 16th, you already know what it is, it’s gonna be locked in, RED.

Dubcnn: The track are definitely hot. Speaking of Dre. When everyone saw that picture of you him and Snoop in the studio everyone got pretty excited. How did you get hooked up back with Dre?

Game: Dre called me, he had Brandon from Aftermath call me and was like, “Yo Dre want you in the studio.” And I always told Dre, “Whenever you need me holla and I’ll be there 30 minutes or less like Dominoes pizza.” Brandon told me Dre wanted me to come down and help him write some songs for Detox. I shot down there and we started gettin’ it in. When I got there Snoop was there we chilled, we smoked a couple of blunts, and Dre was like, “Yo, y’all wanna take a picture?” Me and Snoop was like lookin’ at each other like, “We wit’ it.” Took a picture, blasted it off my twitter page and that was that.

Dubcnn: I think that picture’s gonna be classic when people look back on it. It’s definitely a definition of the West Coast, especially now. Speaking of West Coast projects, you were talking about doing a Diary of Compton, a DOC album. Have you talked to the other guys about doing that?

Game: I haven’t been privy to meet MC Ren, met King T, cool with him, Ice Cube is the big homie, Dr. Dre is a father figure or a big brother to me in hip-hop, me and Snoop ride or die for each other in music and in the street, that’s like my big brother and he hold me down. To put it together it ain’t nothing, but it’s gonna take everyone, The Dogg Pound, Daz, Kurupt. Everybody to come together and really help me perfect that album, I’m not gonna do it halfway. I gotta have 100% of the definition of what Compton is to the artists involved and myself and what people see from the outside looking in. I want to depict Compton is a way that’s so real that you’re from Compton if you’re not. You feel like you’ve seen and you’ve been through what I’ve been through in my life. That’s on hold and hopefully it can be my fifth album, which’ll be my last album on Interscope/Geffen.

Dubcnn: You just got out of a session with Pharrell, and you haven’t worked with him that much before. What’s the vibe like in the studio when you’re working together?

Game: Yo Pharrell is my new favorite producer. I got a whole new respect for Pharrell and the Neptunes but especially Pharrell and how he do his thing. The way he coach me when I’m in the booth, it’s like a Pat Riley to a Tim Hardaway or to a Magic Johnson. The way he let me run point guard when I’m in that booth, it’s crazy. The Neptunes, people don’t really understand what the Neptunes are, but if you take away the Neptunes from hip-hop you take away the color from hip hop, you take way these new kids that’s jerkin’, you take away Jay-Z’s “Change Clothes”. The Neptunes brought a whole new sound a whole new aura to hip hop and it manifested and turned into something that nobody thought would be as big as it is. I’m excited about being in with Pharrell, he’s my new favorite producer and we’ve established this friendship, this bond that goes beyond the music. Me and Pharrell we did four records yesterday and three records today. We recordin’ man. I asked Pharrell if he would executive produce the album and he said “Hell yeah”. Same thing I asked Dre if he would help me complete The Red Album and mix a couple songs and he said yeah. So with Dre and Pharrell, and my lyricism, it’s just crazy.

Dubcnn: You also linked with DJ Premiere on this album.

Game: Nah, I ain’t get with Premiere, I’m supposed to be gettin’ with Premiere before Christmas, I hope that happens. Premiere is one of my favorite classic OG producers that’s still potent in hip-hop today. I just can’t wait to get in with Premiere because I think we can make some classics.

Dubcnn: Let’s talk about Black Wall Street. Are there any of them you’d ever consider pushing and trying to get them on a major platform?

Game: All my guys, XO, Juice, Menace, Clyde Carson, Goon, they all do their thing. Black Wall Street is really like a family; they put their work in on the streets. Once the streets talk back, they’ll tell you who’s hot, kinda like how Drake came up. When the streets start talking about one of my artists I’mma jump behind ‘em and give ‘em 100%. But everybody gotta go through the trials and tribulation of being a new artist and that grind. And if you don’t go through the grind then how will you respect the grind once you on. Everybody gotta go through that. There’s gonna be some turmoils some hardships but the ones that endure are the biggest artists.

Dubcnn: As a West coast artist, as one of the few people able to take West Coast to a worldwide level especially recently, what do you think the West Coast needs to do to stay relevant in hip-hop?

Game: More unity, less hate. That’s it.

Dubcnn: You talked about how you were thinking about retirement. How’s that looking, are you thinking about that?

Game: Right now I’m just doing me. I just love to do music and the people I work with they’re friends more than they are just producers and artists. I’m just gonna rock out in hip-hop as long as hip-hop is standing to have me. I’mma do what I can to contribute to the legacy of good music.

Dubcnn: so if you ever did see a day where you retired, what would a day in the life of Game be like?

Game: I’d be a father and a husband. I love being with my kids, I love being with my girl. I love the family aura, that’s what I’m about. That’s what I want to do after hip-hop. I wanna be so caked up that I don’t have to worry about doing nothing else but being with my family and having fun.

Dubcnn: When everything’s said and done and you want people to look at you 100 years from know what do you want them to think? What’s your legacy?

Game: My legacy is 100% real. That’s it. Kept it real from the beginning to the end, didn’t hold his tongue for nobody, he said what he wanted to say, he voiced his opinions in situations where he felt it was needed. He was a man, a man’s man, he was a father, he was a husband, and he was a good nigga, to his niggas. But he was from Compton.

Dubcnn: tell us about the label situation, you went to Geffen, now you’re back on Interscope.

Game: Geffen and Interscope is the same thing, that’s what people don’t understand. It’s the same people, Jimmy Iovine run it all, David Geffen, the step Johnsons, the Tubbies, the Garnetts, everybody’s the same, Geffen and Interscope is like jelly and jelly.

Dubcnn: Talking about Jimmy, he called 50, you and Dre the black Beatles. What do you think about that comparison?

Game: I think that at the time when we were doing our thing we were like the Beatles. Jimmy always liked to say that, “ Why’d you guys have to break up the Beatles? I have to get the Beatles back together. Game you’re john Lennon, 50’s Paul McCartney. You just fuckin’ can’t get it right”. But me I don’t hold no grudges, if dude wanna make some music tomorrow, then we can talk about it. I don’t really hate 50, it’s all music. One of the things about me and him, I had to survive and at the time, he was so powerful, I felt like he was trying to do the same thing with me he did to Murder Inc. and I just couldn’t let that happen ‘cause I’m a soldier, I’m a warrior and I’mma fight to the death to stay alive to make sure my kids have money and college funds to make sure they’re able to live in whatever economic conditions. I had my back against the wall, I came out swinging. I did what any man would do. I fought for my own existence, I fought G Unit, I fought my own label and I came out victorious. I’m still on Interscope and last year I sold the most records in the building, all music genres. And in 2010 I plan to do the same thing. I’mma just keep rollin’, my label behind me, my family’s behind me, Pharrell is behind me, Dre’s behind me, the 50 nonsense is behind me. Everything is behind me and I’m headed straight that way.

Dubcnn: What can you tell us about the album. What are the surprises, what are they gonna get, what should they expect?

Game: You get what you pay for, that’s all I can tell you. February 16th, The Red Album in stores.

Game Talks Dr. Dre Relationship, "I'm Working On 'Detox' W/ Him & He's Working On 'R.E.D.' W/ Me"

Game recently discussed re-linking with his former Aftermath boss, Dr. Dre, and detailed how their chemistry has been since teaming up to put together The R.E.D. Album.

According to the Black Wall Street leader, his new album will pay homage to his loyal fans and family.

"R.E.D., I'm just painting the whole world red," Game promised in an interview with DJ Green Lantern. "It's basically the re-dedication, it's my most hood and street album since The Documentary so it's basically being rededicated to my fans, my family, my kids, my block, my hood. Like, hip-hop, the R.E.D. Album is gonna be crazy. I'm back in with Dre everyday going hard in the studio doing the little stuff, working on Detox with him and he's working on The R.E.D. Album with me. It's just, we got a good feeling out here...I did my last two albums without Dre and even though, I just did it on my own man. When I talked to him, he [was like] I've been doing a good job and he took a listen and I did my thing. I learned well, my time at Aftermath was spent well, so getting back in, that old feeling came back. The chemistry is crazy, I got a lot of love for that dude and that's why I never really disrespected him or really went at Aftermath, I only did what I had to do to survive man, but I got love for dude and we back in grindin' man." The R.E.D. Album is due in stores Tuesday, February 16th.

We didn't know when tho ...
But here it is, straight from the horse's mouth ...

Happily, the fact that Game's working with Dre now means there will be a whole new concept for this album and if some of y'all weren't happy with what they've heard from the first few singles, I'm sure you'll be happy from the album itself.

But until then, "think R.E.D." ;)

Game has continued to stir up the anticipation for his upcoming R.E.D. Album and said he was placing the final touches with the help of Dr. Dre.

Writing via Twitter, Game revealed more details surrounding his forthcoming release.

Goin back in wit Dre tomorrow to finish my album," he wrote Monday (November 2). "the MATH is bout to do a full 360 again. 'DETOX' is crack & R.E.D. is coke.. take a sniff me & Snoop's album drop on the same day. December 8th !!! if you havin trouble findin em. mines is R.E.D. & his might be blue lol.... R.E.D. just Cuba Gooding Jr. cleared for the R.E.D. album. you gotta wait to see what role he plays in this R.E.D. movie !!!

He recently discussed the album's overall feel and anticipation to drop it next month.

It's just Game now, I took the t-h-e off, you know what I'm saying," Game confirmed in an interview. "I'm just coastin' through, day-by-day, somebody got a script, I'ma read it, if it fits me, hopefully I'll get it. I'm just day-by-day right now. I'm strictly on the color red, I ain't going no further than that, it's gonna be the craziest album out of all four of 'em and it's the most hood album...You know how we do it under the Aftermath umbrella, it be on the low, but it will be in stores December 8th and that's how we gonna roll with it. We're putting out two singles next week...

Producers Cool & Dre revealed details on Game's album and expressed their intent to produce the entire project.

It's a f*cking great experience working with The Game," Dre said agreeing with Cool. "To know that you have someone that you consider family and the music you guys make goes, every time. Every time, it's just a great chemistry. Like 'Hate It Or Love It,' it went huge. Our first number one record of our career. 'My Life,' Top 10. 'Big Dreams,' a record that didn't get no push, f*cking charted. He's dope, the new album is so retarded. We did some sh*t, we're going up there this week. We did a couple new records. We're trying to completely f*cking produce the whole thing, but you know, it's tough. People will step up their level of sh*t for Game. So you know, it's dope because it forces us to step it up...It's dope because he goes in there and writes a f*cking classic record. You know what makes Game dope? He respects the art form, he loves hip-hop so much. Like he respects classic records.

Many of you already know, but if you don't ... Game is going to star in the upcoming movie House Arrest.

The Game has reportedly been chosen to star in the upcoming film House Arrest alongside actress Stacey Dash later this year.

While details are still scarce, the rapper will be featured in the film alongside a variety of actors.

Beautiful cover model/actress Stacey Dash teams up and locks lips with renowned and often controversial rapper The Game to star in House Arrest a "dramedy" as director Billy Washington describes it. High maintenance girl meets quick money scheming man. Up the road and down the hill they go like Jack and Jill facing drama, after drama after drama. Cast includes: Stacey Dash, The Game, Kiera Washington, Red Grant, Bebe Drake, Theron Benymon, Shelli Boone, Cory Bievin and more. (Hip Hop Press)

In addition to starring in films like Waist Deep and Street Kings, he was previously featured in the film Belly 2.

The sequel to 1999's Belly starring West Coast rapper The Game skipped a theatrical release and hit retail stores yesterday (August 12). Titled Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club, the film stars the Black Wall Street leader alongside actress Shari Headley and is based in Compton, California. It places Game as "G," a recently released convict who gets back in to the drug game, who meets Headley's character, Alexis, who is secretly an undercover DEA agent. Both withholding the truth about their actual occupations, their love relationship takes a dramatic turn as a twist is found at the end of the movie. (SOHH)

Aside from films, the rapper is reportedly set to unleash multiple mixtapes this summer.

The Game is in L.A. right now, working on The R.E.D. Album with Cool & Dre. Although a release date has not been set, The Game will release unofficial projects this summer. "This summer, it ain't a n*gga that's gonna out-mixtape me," Game said in an interview. "I'm dropping a mixtape every week. It ain't gonna be like no bullsh*t mixtape sh*t. I'm dropping mixtapes that sound better than people's albums. The first one is gonna be the Bloody Thumb with the red thumb print on the front." (MTV)

While early reports of a possible G-Unit reunion including Game spread online earlier this year, Black Wall Street producer Nu Jerzey Devil recently said it would not take place.

"Never," Devil said in a phone interview. "Never. I mean, I don't know, I can't speak on them but I know Game won't be a part of it but if they want to do their little G-Unit [reunion] without Game maybe that's something possible. But as far as Game being in it? Never. You know what I mean?" (Champ Magazine)

No further information on House Arrest has yet been released.

G-Unit's Tony Yayo recently spoke on his former associate The Game and why the West Coast rapper's The Documentary should have been his multi-platinum debut.

In addition to Game, the "Talk Of New York" also addressed Fat Joe and how he fell out of touch with former Unit member Young Buck.

"Yeah, Fat Joe, K.A.R., I seen y'all only did 250 copies," Yayo said in an interview. "I didn't say 250,000, I said 250 copies. You're not even on the SoundScan...Even the Cam'ron sh*t, it was all competition, as long as it doesn't get carried away and become physical, I guess it just becomes a battle...That's the thing with Buck, I had a little altercation in Miami with DJ Khaled at the radio station, sh*t could have got ugly, it was on Tupac's birthday, too, he said he was gonna do a song with Khaled and that's when I started looking at the n*gga funny. If 50 says he got a problem with a n*gga then we all got a problem with a n*gga...Game is not even hot right now, he did a few records. Let me tell you something, Game is a lucky a** n*gga. When I got out of jail, that Game album was supposed to be my album. All that 'This Is How We Do' was supposed to be me. But 50 [Cent] and [Dr.] Dre had an agreement that sh*t woulda been my album that did 5 million. He's a lucky motherf*cker man, I'll give it to him...He's bi-polar. Game recently spoke on how he destroyed G-Unit and addressed his love and hate relationship with 50.

"Nobody can stop my shine, you can't do nothin' about me man," Game said about 50. "'300 Bars' solidifed the death of them n*ggas man and we been f*cking stomping on they graves ever since. Like I said years ago on SmackDVD, Young Buck was getting out, next is Lloyd Banks...I ain't talked to 50 in like three, four years. I don't know man, let homie get his money. He got his G-Unit sh*ts I be hearing in the club sometimes. Those la-di da-di sh*ts. They b*tches be dancing, the n*ggas be partying, if the beat is hot I'll dance. 50, get your money n*gga, I ain't hating...I got ThisIzGame, everything that n*gga do I'm on that n*gga head. The Game Implicated In Snoop Dogg Assault Case

Snoop dogg made an appearance in court yesterday (April 27) to contest a $22 million lawsuit, pointing out that The Game's entourage was in the middle of the melee.

In addition to point out his fellow West Coaster's involvement, Snoop also denied assaulting the alleged victim, sayin he actually feared for his safety.

According to E! Online, Snoop said Richard Monroe, Jr., the man suing the rapper, jumped on stage without an invite causing him to become scared. He says his bodyguards, The Game and members of his entourage surrounded the man at which time he was escorted off stage by his security team.

The rapper also claimed he was assaulted during the incident and was checked out by a medic while aboard his tour bus.

A video shown at around 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon reportedly showed The Game in the middle of the fight and Snoop also pointed him out, blaming him and his entourage for the assault.

At press time, neither rapper had issued any comment on the lawsuit.

Now, ain't that a bitch move :)

Game's brother, Big Fase (GEORGE A. TAYLOR III) is in the hospital fighting for his life.
The info came from his father.
The president and founder of Brazil Street Records in Comtpon, CA took part in a fight.
He was trying to break up a fight between two of his homies, when he fell and hit his head.The hit split the back of his skull.He is a minor coma.
Let's pray for him and hope he gets better.

The Game Launches Clothing Line In Europe

West Coast platinum artist The Game has finalized plans for a European debut of his Black Wall Street brand.

Since his 2005 debut under G Unit, The Game has showcased various clothing items from Black Wall Street, but never previously offered a full line of products for sale.

Through the newly launched website http://www.bwseurope.com, The Game’s fledgling line will be available at competitive prices and designs for today’s urban market.

"We at BWS have been creating clothing items since Game and BWS began the climb to worldwide notoriety and popularity,” explained Black Wall Street President Tasiri Hixon to AllHipHop.com. “Now we are taking steps forward to really take the clothing and make it a complete apparel line that will carve out a niche place in the marketplace. Obviously we are still gearing up to launch domestically soon and will be in retail stores and online stores soon.”

Along with promoting the new line, bwseurope.com aims to bolster Game’s international presence through social networking, and unite the diverse urban music cultures across the region.

The website will also feature direct participation from Black Wall Street members, and representation of artists from 2 step, bassline, dubstep, funky house, and grime music genres.

At press time, Game is working on new Black Wall Street mixtapes with DJ Skee and XO, and completing the relaunch of http://www.thisizgame.com.

The Game's Red Album

The Game has been working on his next album, titled, The Red Album. He's been working on it since the beginning of the year, while he's been on tour. Sources say he will have no featured guest. Not a single one. He's worked with producers of the likes of Kanye West, Just Blaze, DJ Khaled, J.R. Rotem, Jelly Roll, Cool & Dre, Nottz, Scott Storch, The Neptunes, DJ Khalil, will.i.am, Swizz Beats, & Hi-Tek. Since the beginning of the year he's recorded over 100 songs for his new album. The Red Album should hit stores in November.The first single "I'll Find You" Produced By Mr. West should release in the next couple months. He's planning on having 2-3 singles before the album actually releases.

The Game Challenges Bow Wow ... AGAIN!

As most of y'all know, last year Game and Bow Wow challenged each other to determine who was the better Madden player.There was a lot of hype and after a few weeks the rappers met to see who was the best.There where $100,000 on the line for the Madden Champion.The Game’s New England Patriots eventually destroyed Bow Wow’s Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 55-23.
The thing is, Bow Wow never paid the full amount, so now Game is calling him out for a double or nothing rematch.But this time around, they'll be playing the Black College Football Experience on Xbox 360.

There's no response from Bow Wow, but I'll keep you posted ;)

As most of y'all know The Game announced he's working on a new album.
The info came from one of the best producers out there - Maestro, who worked on Lil Wayne's "Carter III" (A Millie)
He posted info on his web site about his studio session with Game.Here's what he said:

"The Game was in Atl recording and selecting tracks for his upcoming release 'The Red Album.' He picked new tracks I played AND already had some loaded and ready to go! Despite the Grammy and plaques its still a great feeling when I walk into a session and get love from the room; it seemed like all of Black Wall Street had heard my tracks and was saying my tag back to me! Other member's of Atlanta's production elite made appearances too; I heard crack from The Bizness, Drumma Boy, Hit Boy, Eric Sermon, and newcomer Rico Law, with engineer Ralph Cacciurri presiding on the SSL. The Red Album is gonna be a problem. Keep your fingers crossed...crossed tight...tighter than Wayne's pants ;) "
